If there is one thing any bride wants on her wedding day, it's to feel like she is the most beautiful girl in the world. On my wedding day, I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world! I was able to get up that day and not have to worry about whether it would be a good hair and make-up day or not. Carrie Purser does exceptional work. She is professional, friendly, and works with your needs and style. I consider myself to be somewhat of a picky person when it comes to my hair and make-up. Most of the time, I would rather do my own hair and make-up rather than having someone else do it for me. I usually just don't like what they do. I either feel too "done up" or like it's just "not enough." Carrie works with you in such a way that you have multiple opportunities to tell her what you want. When you meet with her she sets up a trial run where she actually does your hair and make-up. You then have the opportunity to decide what you like and what you want to change for pictures and your wedding day. I really appreciated that aspect of Carrie's services because on my wedding day I knew exactly what I would get. I never had to worry, and that's something I really wanted on my wedding day, was not to worry! And for some reason, it may be just because it was my wedding day, but Carrie helped me look the most beautiful I have ever looked! If I could give a bride one piece of advice for her wedding day, it would be to make it easy for yourself so you can feel beautiful and enjoy every moment of your special day. I have had Carrie Purser's ATrac hair extensions since March 2010, so almost one year. I have absolutely loved them. I have tried multiple kinds in the past, and the others just don't compare. The hair itself feels just as soft and shiny as the day I got them. (Which has saved a fortune). And also my own hair has stayed in great shape and is damage free, as compared to the other methods that are just too hard on the hair and cause breakage, thinning and even bald spots! I have recommended this method to everyone I talk to and they absolutely love them as well. Kelly's before/after pictures during her touch up session. She came in for her touch up so I hurried and took some pictures with her hair all done. Then after the 10 MINUTES it took to remove the ATracs to begin her touch up, I took some before pictures. You can see Kelly has longer hair, it is just short on the sides and thin. Her objective with the extensions is to add some length and density to her natural hair. Then it took only ONE hour to put the hair extensions back in and Kelly was back to having her gorgeous, full long hair.

I have had hair extensions for almost 3 years now and I hated them. They were so hard on my hair and hard to take care of, and I always had to buy new hair, which got extremely expensive. The only reason I kept getting them done was because if i took them out, I hated the way I looked cause my hair was so thin. They literally ruined my hair!! My mom started getting her extensions done from Carrie and loved her work because of a new technique she knew for doing extensions that doesn't damage your hair. So she told me to try her, but I didn't think a new way of doing it would solve any of my problems because I had already tried everything else, and nothing had ever worked. After bugging me about it for a couple months she set me up an appointment. I figured I hated them anyways no matter who did them so it wouldn't hurt anything.

Wow, was I wrong! First off, I was amazed at how little of my hair she uses to put them in, and they hold great. I've had them in now for 11 months and I LOVE THEM!! They are so easy to take care of. Sometimes I forget I even have them in and nobody else can even tell. The best part is that I am saving money because I have had the same hair for 11 months and its still in GREAT shape! Not to mention how happy that makes my husband that I'm not spending as much money! :) Carrie is so good at what she does and I trust her so much that I don't even tell her what to do anymore, I just let her go to town and I always leave loving it! I can’t say enough about Carrie Purser and her amazing talents! This past July was one of the biggest days of my life…..my wedding of course! Luckily I was introduced to Carrie, and she was able to make my day magical! After our consultation, I knew she was the one. I had no worries after that, and had complete confidence in her. When I went for my trial, I didn’t really have any hair ideas in mind. My hair is long and extremely thick. Most of the time it is unmanageable and thrown into a ponytail. I got married in the most humid part of the summer in the midwest. A couple of my bridesmaids took my advice and had their makeup done with me. Originally I scheduled to get my hair and make-up done through another salon for my wedding. The trial for my make-up left me very disappointed. The week of my wedding, my mom and I went to visit Carrie with an emergency. We had to find someone to do my hair! As we visited and learned about Carrie's talents, I was amazed and a little wary. Coming from a retail makeup background, I was hesitant to give the airbrush makeup a try, first for not knowing much about airbrush makeup and second I was comfortable with what I am familiar with. I decided to give it a try for a professional photo shoot I was aked to do for one of my best friend's website sherryssite.com, she asked me to be a model for her merchandise. With Carrie's training and reputation in the beauty industry, I trusted her judgement and her advise on trying the airbrush make-up for the photo shoot. To my suprise, it is not like theater make-up that is thick and uncomfortable, the airbrush makeup was flawless lightweight invisible coverage! We began hair and makeup at 6am, I was scheduled for a 10:00 am photo shoot. After I completed the photo shoot, I headed to the airport for an 8 hour trip home to North Carolina. I arrived home around 12:30 am at night and went straight to bed without washing my face. I woke up in a mad panic to get to work on time, looked at my make-up and was so impressed that I could go to work without having to do anything to touch it up! Carrie was an amazing contribution to our daughter’s wedding success. For an affordable price Carrie scheduled out all pre-wedding haircuts and color. Carrie did make- up and hair for engagement, bridal and wedding pictures. Carrie was with our wedding party for the entire day of the wedding. She curled the bride’s hair the night before (at 11:00 pm in the middle of a bridesmaid party) and started at 5:45 am preparing the bride, bride’s maids and groomsmen for the 10:00am wedding. Carrie did air brushing on the entire wedding party (yes even the men), and make up for the girls and hair for the bride. Carrie stayed close to the bride and her party and did touch up all day. The pictures will tell the story- we had a stellar looking wedding party. At the end of the day we have the great memory and pictures -they are both amazing. I hired Carrie Purser for my wedding day and it was one of the best investments I made for my special day. I had a fairly big event planned, and I had put so much thought and effort into every detail of the wedding, except probably the most important. I didnt know how Iwas going to do my hair or makeup. I found Carrie and we talked about my plans and themes for the wedding, and she had the perfect ideas. I booked her and she helped me plan every angle of the hair and makeup for me and my wedding party. She was also extremely helpful with my engagement and bridal pictures. Carrie has a good eye for what looks good in person and in photos, which was very important to me. She gave me an outstanding look for my bridal pictures. Even my photographer commented on how unreal my makeup looked in her photos. I was also extremely picky with my hair, and she was very helpful with that. We had many planning and practicing appointments which led to me loving our final outcome. On the wedding day, Carrie was amazing. She was willing to meet me at six in the morning, and was with me all day long to do touch ups. I never once worried about how my makeup looked, even after crying, constantly hugging people, and even after having caked shoved in my face. Carrie took care of all of it. Carrie also did the mother's makeup, and also airbrushed all of the bridesmaids and even the groomsmen. And I was so thankful, everyone matched and looked in sync with each other, and the bridesmaid were even thankful because they didnt have to worry about getting ready. The groomsmen were skeptical about wearing makeup at first, but then agreed when they realized it was completly unnoticable. Carrie also went way above and beyond what she was expected to, she helped with set up, she helped with all of the safety pinning, she always made sure I had everything, and she even helped with some dramatic bridal party! At the time I meet Carrie I was a total wreck. Although I had been given a sufficient amount of time to plan out my extensive photography final, I just..... hadn't. Time waits for no man, and I only had one week to pull off something amazing for my last semester at Utah State University. I was desperate in my attempts of finding a makeup artist and pleaded with ladies working at department store counters to do some freelance work for a student in need. No luck. As I was walking through campus one day, I saw a sign with Carries name and number and gave it a chance with low expectations. My first time talking to Carrie felt like talking to an old friend, not only was Carrie willing to make herself available (although plenty busy herself ) I was also able to bounce ideas off of her and she was full of great suggestions. My models had a blast and squealed when I told them they were getting makeovers from a professional. The airbrushing went on smoothly and Carrie paid attention to small details such as an eyelash here or there. One of my models couldn't wait for the photo shoot to be over so she could show her boyfriend her new look. That said, my low expectations received high satisfaction.

What is great about Carrie is that she can see anyone as beautiful and that's exactly the type of makeup artist that is wonderful to work with. I appreciate the professional atmosphere Carrie creates and I can't wait to work with her in the future.
