Sharing the Joy....

Many people ask me if I like being a makeup/hair artist. Normally I answer back with a quick "yes", but truthfully that doesn't really cover the half of it. I don't "like" my job, I LOVE IT! Why?...well if you were in my shoes you would know exactly what I meant.
Even though I'm a makeup/hair artist, I wear a variety of other hats in my life as a mother, daughter, sister, wife, artist, teacher, beauty expert and a business woman. All of these elements add a lot of flavor to the mix, so I just thought to myself "you've logged a lot of hours on this interesting journey of yours, so you might as well share the ride". So I am! That will be the only way for you to understand what I love about my profession and why I love living in the moment....

LAST MINUTE MAKEOVER AT WEDDING SHOWCASE...

Kelsi...what a darling 'soon to be' bride! Meeting Kelsi was such a delight. She has had a little pressure about what she is doing with her makeup for her wedding day as Kelsi is not your makeup type of gal. Her best friend Leslie could not praise my airbrush makeup service enough (Big, BIG THANKS Leslie). So at the WS Kelsi had the opportunity to get a really quick and short demo of what she could look like with airbrush makeup and see the difference from her natural self. I dare say she was pleasantly suprised and enjoyed the demo. Conrats Kelsi on your engagement, thanks for sharing the day with me.

DIY Model for Wedding Showcase...

Ally was my DIY (do it yourself) model for my presentation at the Wedding Showcase workshop last friday night. (DIY pic with pink bandana). At the Wedding Showcase last saturday I demonstrated what Ally would look like with Professional Airbrush Makeup (first two pics). The last picture is her fresh natural face. The guests that stopped by the booth or were there to actually watch the makeover were amazed at the difference, and the biggest comment was it didnt even look like she was wearing any makeup after I finished. Airbrush Makeup is invisible and flawless coverage. Airbrush makeup is now the most requested application for bridal makeup. Email me for more information or to schedule your free consultation.

Airbrush Makeup Is All You Need to Look Perfect!

The art of make-up may look a bit too precious to many of us. We watch celebrities at important mundane events for hours and wonder how on earth they manage to look so glamours and natural at the same time. The secret is in the quality of their makeup and, of course, in the technique used to apply make-up on their face and neck.
You should keep in mind that Airbrush Makeup in not just for celebrities only. Anyone who has had the chance of using this type of make-up a few times already knows that getting a perfect face is no rocket science if you have the right tools. Buying no-name make-up at the discount shops will never allow you to improve the look of your face to the standards that film and music stars do, but Airbrush Makeup will certainly provide the perfection we are all looking for.
The difference between professional make-up and ordinary make-up is that the former looks a lot better and lasts longer on your face.
Professional Airbrush Makeup will never burden your skin, make it look artificial or damage it in any way. Once it is applied, you will have a natural looking face for your special event. Quality and comfort are the key words to keep in mind with Airbrush Makeup, for both glamour and natural beauty.
It is not difficult to find a great outfit to wear for on a special occasion, or the appropriate accessories to match it. Yet, a face, no matter how beautiful and fresh-looking requires more attention than the body. Each and every element of your face must get its share of attention for the whole to look perfect. A natural foundation to cover imperfections of the skin, adequate eye-shadow to match the color of your eyes, nourishing lip-stick for the comfort of your lips, correct definition and highlight to complement and emphasize your bone structure, quality mascara to enhance the beauty your eye-lashes and many other tricks that a woman should know about will bring the youthful glow back to your face. With Airbrush Makeup you can have all this in an instant.

What Makes Airbrush Makeup Better Than Regular Makeup?

Airbrush makeup is a great alternative to regular makeup. It's advantages include thin and even application which results in a natural but flawless appearance. Airbrush cosmetics have also long-lasting coverage. The fine misting process allows subtlety in contouring and highlighting generally not possible with conventional makeup application.
There are special foundations especially designed for airbrush application. Foundations, blush and eye shadow can all be used when applying make up using the airbrush method. Traditionally, the makeup sponge and brush sufficed for applications of makeup. With the advent of high definition media, not only red carpet stars and models but also brides are shunning the cakiness and streaking associated with regular makeup. Airbrush makeup does not show creases. Furthermore, it lasts much longer than normal makeup- up to 12 hours or longer in most cases and is non-transferable, meaning that slight rubbing or brushing against something or someone will not cause the makeup to come off of the face.
The different formulations of airbrush makeup makes the makeup water resistant to sweat and tears and does not need to be touched up. This is the reason why airbrush makeup is becoming the preferred choice for for bridal pictures and weddings.

A-Trac Extension work

Client has very fine, thin hair. Her extension application is my new A-Trac method. The pictures were taken prior to doing my blending cut and of course once you wash your extentions the first time a few days after the application your hair all blends more evenily together. Check out more information about A-Trac hair extension method on my web page under hair extentions on my artist page.
