Sharing the Joy....

Many people ask me if I like being a makeup/hair artist. Normally I answer back with a quick "yes", but truthfully that doesn't really cover the half of it. I don't "like" my job, I LOVE IT! Why?...well if you were in my shoes you would know exactly what I meant.
Even though I'm a makeup/hair artist, I wear a variety of other hats in my life as a mother, daughter, sister, wife, artist, teacher, beauty expert and a business woman. All of these elements add a lot of flavor to the mix, so I just thought to myself "you've logged a lot of hours on this interesting journey of yours, so you might as well share the ride". So I am! That will be the only way for you to understand what I love about my profession and why I love living in the moment....

FIT AND BEAUTIFUL...

Georgia was getting ready to compete in a fitness competition in Boise, so she had booked an appointment with me to get her hair colored and styled. During her service she inquired about my makeup services for an upcoming photo shoot she was doing with the fabulous Kellee Smith http://www.momentsbykellee.com/ So one afternoon she came to my home studio I went to work and then she and Kellee went to the gym to produce these amazing images. Can you believe this beauty is the mother of four??? Georgia's beauty on the inside is what reflects on the out. I could only wish I had the drive to be this fit. She is my inspiration. A MOMENT IN LAGUNA

One night as I was attending a function at my home town Country Club I ran into an old photographer friend of mine. During our conversation and his interest in working together we brain stormed a photo shoot in the Laguna Beach area. He has a beautiful home there and had a great concept in mind. So of course I jump on board as I am always interested in building my portfolio. I called upon another friend of mine to get me the talent. So one Friday afternoon we all met in Laguna Beach and began our concept shoot. I have to say this was my first actual time in Laguna and I was taken back by the beauty it offers. Such a cool place. So after a long afternoon of HMUA and shooting we all gathered in the kitchen of my friends home and he and his companion cooked us this wonderful dinner. Far above any duty of anyone especially on a photo shoot. What this wonderful session turned out to be is enjoying the beauty of Laguna, meeting new friends and creating a lasting bond and memory that will forever be remembered, which turned us all into life long friends.
