FEATURED 'A LIFE TO LOVE' WEDDING~ Alex & Mandee

I could not think of a more fitting quote than that to go with this post. As some may know this bride is truly a special girl and one that is very dear to my heart. At birth she was born with a defected heart so throughout her life she was in and out of the hospital undergoing several surgeries. The most admirable thing about Mandee is she hardly ever complained, even still to this day. She is the strongest, bravest and most caring woman I know. She truly is a gift, an angel.

At the age of 18, just days after graduating high school Mandee got the call to receive a heart. The heart transplant was her only hope. We can all recognize the sadness that goes along with organ donation, but its like a bittersweet- sad and painful for one family to happy and joy for another family. It definitely was an experience I will always remember..pain and joy all expressed at one time. Fortunately, the donor family, (who truly are angels themselves) Mandee and her family have united and now share a beautiful loving happy life together as family. This union could not be more beautiful or blessed!

So as the years went Mandee's biggest hopes and dreams where to find the man who would equal her and live the life she has visioned. This is one gift she is so grateful for...to find true love and get married to the man of her dreams! I was truly honored to be Mandee's hair and makeup artist and share one of the most important days in her life.

Featured Bridal Session~Chalis

Chalis is a country girl at heart, but she makes one beautiful bride too!!I was so happy she had asked me to do her makeup for her wedding and bridal session. I had met Chalis through her sister in-law/coworker and it has been such an honor to share my artistry with this amazing and fun family. Her bridal session was photographed on her family property. Her brooch bouquet was made from brooch's that guests and family gave to her at her bridal shower and her necklace was made from her Grandmothers jewelry. I loved everything about this session/brides look it truly exemplifies what a genuine cowgirl she truly is. Her wedding was unbelievable and I cant wait to post pictures from that. Featured Formal Session~ Chris & Christy~ Aya Photography

I met Christy at a local bridal fair. What I loved about her is she knew exactly what vendors she was there to visit with and I was first on her list! This is what I love about brides who know how important professional makeup and hair artistry is for their special day. Christy knew what she wanted and she was not going to waste any time booking her date with me. I could not have been more flattered. This bride is one who will forever have a special spot in my heart because not only is she pretty on the outside but the inner beauty this girl has is truly genuine. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Christy and her mom and share this special moment with them.
