Sharing the Joy....

Many people ask me if I like being a makeup/hair artist. Normally I answer back with a quick "yes", but truthfully that doesn't really cover the half of it. I don't "like" my job, I LOVE IT! Why?...well if you were in my shoes you would know exactly what I meant.
Even though I'm a makeup/hair artist, I wear a variety of other hats in my life as a mother, daughter, sister, wife, artist, teacher, beauty expert and a business woman. All of these elements add a lot of flavor to the mix, so I just thought to myself "you've logged a lot of hours on this interesting journey of yours, so you might as well share the ride". So I am! That will be the only way for you to understand what I love about my profession and why I love living in the moment....

WEDDING SESSION~ JENNA & KOLTON

Jenna was the city girl from Arizona who found her cowboy and did Kolton ever turn this city girl into a cowgirl! What a fun day their wedding was, they went all out and had the funniest western style wedding I have ever seen! The fun all started when I was doing Jenna's hair and makeup very early, but her soon-to-be mother in-law kept us all laughing and the spirits happy. The sign at the end of this picture session pretty much sums up Merrilee's personality, she is a hoot! It was an honor to be with Jenna on her special day and I know these two will have a very happy FUN life together. ENGAGEMENT SESSION~ JONI & JOSH

I've known Joni since she was four months old! When she came to me and said she was getting married it brought a tear to my eye but great excitement too because I knew that she would make one stunning beautiful bride! Needless to say when I saw the photos of her Engagement session taken by the best (Kellee Smith at Moments by Kellee Photography) I realized what a good looking couple Joni and Josh are and that made me even more excited!!! Her dad let her use his pride and joy (the car), although they had to earn it by going the night before their session and washing it up. When Joni told me this it made me smile because I know her father so well. I am so excited to share more of this couple's photo sessions with you as the journey of their marriage becomes all to real. More tears will come I can guarantee that, but I know she will be one stunning bride. FEATURED FORMAL SESSION~ TAWNA & CHRISTOPHER

When Tawna contacted me with her interests in my services because she was getting married I first was so excited, but secondly somewhat shocked because she is the same age as my son and I have known this beautiful 'girl' for a long time! But what a honor it is to be her personal makeup and hair artist on her most important day. She is definitely not hard at capturing her beauty and making the most of it. Tawna wanted a romantic updo with makeup that really accentuated her eyes (who wouldn't with eyes like hers). What a wonderful couple these two will make come September 24th. FEATURED FORMAL SESSION~ KATHY & NICK

This beautiful couple lives in my favorite city~ New York and came all the way home to get married. They met in high school and continued a friendship all through college. Now years later Nick asked Kathy to marry him. I was extremely excited to once again see how far my work was reaching the bridal business outside of my little home town, but more excited to get the opportunity to work with Kathy my first Asian bride! She is truly a beauty inside and out too.

FEATURED ENGAGEMENT & FORMAL SESSION ~ JENNA & COLTON

Jenna was the city girl from Arizona who met Colton the cowboy and that was all she wrote. She exchanged the fancy hills for the boots and followed him home. I must say she makes a beautiful cowgirl now! Wait until you see there wedding pictures and just how fun their country fun was. Pictures by Natalie, PhotosbyNatalie.com
