Sharing the Joy....

Many people ask me if I like being a makeup/hair artist. Normally I answer back with a quick "yes", but truthfully that doesn't really cover the half of it. I don't "like" my job, I LOVE IT! Why?...well if you were in my shoes you would know exactly what I meant.
Even though I'm a makeup/hair artist, I wear a variety of other hats in my life as a mother, daughter, sister, wife, artist, teacher, beauty expert and a business woman. All of these elements add a lot of flavor to the mix, so I just thought to myself "you've logged a lot of hours on this interesting journey of yours, so you might as well share the ride". So I am! That will be the only way for you to understand what I love about my profession and why I love living in the moment....

Bridal Faire Models-Miss Cache Valley Contestant

Kodie came to me with interest in airbrush makeup. She was a contestant in the Miss Cache Valley pageant. Just so happened to work out for both of us, as I needed models for the USU Bridal Faire. Kodie was a perfect model as she had full face and body airbrush makeup.

Kelsie was a model for the Bridal Faire. She is so naturally beautiful, but the brides were able to see how more flawless a person can look even when they have good skin to begin with. Her mom was totally amazed and rather WOWed by the entire application. It was a fun day, and thanks to Kellee Smith with Moments by Kellee for allowing me to demonstrate my service and show all the brides to be just how beautiful they can look on their special day.

HOW IS AIRBRUSH MAKEUP DIFFERENT?

Some traditional foundations can look obvious, caked-on or thick which can leave you feeling as though you’re always wearing make-up. Airbrush make-up is sprayed on as a fine mist of color that gently covers the skin, giving the appearance of a flawless complexion. Airbrush Make-up leaves a light, seamless blend of color, creating the illusion of a perfect face; allowing your true skin tone to show through without masking your face.
Misting micro-dots of make-up on the surface of the face also looks more natural than traditional makeup because it isn’t rubbed into the skin and doesn’t exaggerate the pores. This process allows the Airbrush Make-up to conceal better while enabling your skin to breathe.
The ability to mix Airbrush foundation colors for individual custom blends is unsurpassed, resulting in a most natural look that covers skin imperfections.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!!

For the last serveral years my family and I have spent our holidays in what we call Paradise. Each year our dear friends play santa to the local vendor's children, and its quite the site to see the children run in anticipation to pick out a toy, the smiles on their faces is a very humbling experience. We feel so honored and blessed to be able to share this expereince with people who so generously give, care and the souls it touches. I know my family and I return home with much gratitude in our hearts and the desire to help more where we can. Happy New Year to you and yours and especially those who have touched our lives and more....
