Lisa came to me with the idea of a 'Rock-a-Billy' bride theme, I was sooo excited! When we did her trial we conversed for awhile to get on the same page of what we both believed was rockabilly. After a very exciting consultation we began and I transformed her hair into a total 50's era style and she rocked the hair and makeup. Then when she came for her bridal session she said her finance' wanted her hair more 60's. So here is what I came up with to fancy this couple and Lisa rocked this session for her modern day rock-a-billy bride. The first picture reminds me of such a timeless classic back in the day- Love it! I got married in the most humid part of the summer in the midwest. A couple of my bridesmaids took my advice and had their makeup done with me. While we were taking pictures I looked over at my girls and you could really tell who did their makeup and who had Carrie do it. I looked amazing! While the other girls were melting with their sweat mustaches and creased eye shadow. I looked like a model with no flaws and so did the girls who went with the professional. On your wedding day you never know what will go wrong. By noon on my wedding day I had two bridesmaids cancel, three people suffering from heat stroke, a broken cake topper, a misspelled floor design for the dance floor, and like every bride a crazy mother! I hired Carrie to do my hair and makeup but she helped this type A control freak to remember that the day was about my fiance and I. She really kept me focused on me, so that I could look my best no matter what crazy thing was going on around me. I would say Carrie and her talents are as important on your wedding day as your marriage license is, you just have to have it!Ruthann

Ruthie and Jason , what an incredible wedding this was all the way in Cincinnati Ohio. It was soooo hot and humid! Everyone knows how much I love getting my work out there any chance I can and to work across the country is always a pleasure for me even with change in temperatures. Ruthie had a very early call time for Hair and Makeup to be ready for her temple wedding in the Louisville KY temple (yes this event, I hit 2 states and 3 different cities). Her beautiful brides maids were so nice and it was such a pleasure to work with her maid-of-honor Ashley (she's beautiful inside and out).
